Welcome to bungalow ebay surf mentawai – paradise in the Mentawai islands, Indonesia. Mother nature's gift to the world of surfing! Traditional wooden bungalows nestled on the beach front of Nyang Nyang Island, North Mentawai.
We are lucky enough to have 5 awesome waves within walking distance of our camp. E-bay breaks directly in front of our camp so you can watch the waves roll in from your balcony. Beng Beng and Pitstop are just a short walk away, and Nipussi and Bank Vaults are reachable on foot as well.
At our surf camp we have traditional bungalows located right on a beautiful beach at the stunning and hidden Nyang-Nyang or Masokut island. The camp can house a maximum of 10 persons and provides a traditional feel with modern facilities. The ideal Indonesian atmosphere gives our visitors a unique memorable stay. With white sandy beaches, countless palm trees, turquoise waters, coral reefs and breathtaking waves, our Camp Siberut offers an exciting priceless experience.
Designed as a traditional house, this budget Mentawai surf camp features dorm rooms, double bed and single bed options. Each room is equipped with fans and mosquito nets; some tasty recipes will keep you well fed. You usually end up sharing chats & laughs with some funny locals who often come to hang out in the comfy lounge.

What's Included
- ✓ Round trip transportation between Padang's airport and Homestay in Padang. Note: minimum 1 person until 2 persons.
- ✓ 2 nights of accommodation at Home Stay in Padang: one night before going to the Mentawais islands and one night after your return from the islands. Note: minimum 1 person until 2 persons.
- ✓ Round trip transportation from Homestay to Padang's harbor. Note: minimum 1 person until 3 persons.
- ✓ The amount of nights of accommodation at the Surf Camp as described per package above.
- ✓ 3 full meals per day at the Surf Camp in the Mentawais: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- ✓ Unlimited mineral water, tea and coffee. Please bring your own bottle so you can refill it with fresh water before going to your surfing trips.

Important Notes
- •Masokut and Nyang Nyang are two different names for the same island.
- •The Fast Ferry departs from Padang only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, returning on the same days.
- •Siberut to Masokut charter boats are small motor boats carrying a maximum of 5 guests with their luggage. Groups of 6 or more require a second boat.
- •Island-to-Island Boat Rental: From our surf camp you can rent a boat to visit waves at neighboring islands (Riffles, 4 Bobs, Kandui, Burgerworld, Karamba, Hideaways, A-Frames, etc.). The boat carries a maximum of 5 guests. Costs can be shared with other surfers.
- •Extra days can always be added to your package with an additional payment per night.
- •To hold a reservation, pay 20% deposit in advance (via bank transfer or Western Union). Final payment (80%) must be made before departure to the islands. The 20% deposit is non-refundable on cancellation.
Mentawai Surfer Tax
Commencing August 1, 2016, the Mentawai Regional Government imposed a Surfer's Levy in accordance with Regional Regulation No. 2 Year 2015. Payment is made directly at Nagari Bank (Deposit Slip Model A). Purchase surfing tickets and bracelets at the Tourism Information Center (TIC), Jln Padang Azizi No. 121 Andalas, Padang, or at the Tourism Office in Tuapejat.
